Ed's Trainer Card

For my fanfiction on FF.Net (Ed, Edd n Eddy VS. Sinnoh), this is what I planned on Ed's main team ending up like in my story. Sure these aren't the only Pokemon that Ed will own, but these will be his main ones and his best as well.

Torterra: Torterra is Ed's starter Pokemon (the lab ran out of Torchics) which he received as a Turtwig. Torterra is generally the big, bulky tank of Ed's team with a more defensive role. Ed has nicknamed his Torterra as "Lockjaw" originally as a Turtwig, but soon got its nickname changed to "Behemoth" once it became a Torterra. Torterra is usually a very nice Pokemon who is extremely loyal to his master and is quite affectionate, even tackling Ed towards the ground and "hugging" him (which Ed doesn't mind one bit since he can do the same towards him back). Torterra's main moves in combat are Earthquake, Crunch, Curse, Wood Hammer, Leaf Storm, Stone Edge, Hyper Beam, Frenzy Plant and Stealth Rock. So while Torterra is a gentle giant, he is also not a giant you want to be crushed by in battle as well.

Snorlax: After the death of Ed's Bibarel, Ed fell into a state of depression after realizing that Pokemon, like people and animals, can die. However, in a weeks time, an energetic and joyful Munchlax managed to get Ed out of his depression and was soon caught by Ed. Ed's Snorlax tends to go by the nickname of "Heavy". Because Munchlax evolve with happiness and Ed generally made his Munchlax happy a lot, his Munchlax evolved into a Snorlax earlier than usual. As a Snorlax, he plays a similar role as Torterra does in battle as a big, bulky tank, only using offense instead of defense. Snorlax's moves are Rollout, Crunch, Giga Impact, Heavy Bomber, Zen Headbutt, Rest, Curse, Fissure, Wild Charge and Surf. So, like Torterra, you do not want to get squished by this fatass.

Machamp: Won from a bet against some miners as a Machop and gained the nickname of "Freak". Ed's Machamp, while being highly athletic and can be a dumb jerk unintentionally, is still a good fellow. In battle, Machamp generally tends to use a variety of holds and wrestling moves to bring his foes into submission. The moves Ed's Machamp tends to use in battle though are Wide Guard, Submission, Vital Throw, Seismic Toss, Foresight, Knock Down, Heavy Bomber, Fire Punch, Ice Punch, Thunder Punch, Tickle, Fling, Poison Jab and Close Combat. It's defiantly a safe thing to say that Ed's Machamp is quite dangerous, but still a okay Pokemon outside of battle.

Golduck: After she stole some of Ed's food, she ended up getting captured by Ed as a Psyduck and earned the nickname of "Sapphire". Ed's Golduck is a rather sneaky is deceitful Pokemon, and even tends to do her own thing in battle instead of listening to Ed, even though she likes her master. Ed's Golduck can be caring though, but only towards young children and Pokemon. In battle, Golduck tends to act fast, deceive the opponent, and knock them out as quick as possible. Her moves are Wonder Room, Psychic, Aqua Jet, Waterlog, Hone Claws, Zen Headbutt, Aerial Ace, Shadow Claw, Dive, Hydro Pump, Waterfall and Toxic. So, Ed's Golduck, while being seen as mean at times, can still be nice, if you're a little kid.

Darmanitan: Received and rescued as an egg from a Pokemon Egg Napper, the egg quickly hatched into a Darumakka and became the baby of Ed's team, earning the nickname of Sasquatch. As a Darumakka, he was quite a ruckus, pooping and spitting out fire everywhere, which was flat out gross for everyone else but Ed himself. Once it evolved into a Darmanitan after kicking Ed's Machamp's ass, Ed's Darmanitan became the quick hitter of Ed's team that loved to destroy his opponents in battle, although still had an immature personality. His moves mainly are Flare Blitz, Hammer Arm, Superpower, U-turn, Strength, Take Down, Fire Punch, Fire Fang, Stone Edge, Psychic (when in Daruma Mode), Thrash, Cheer Up, Belly Drum and Nitro Charge. In other words, Ed's Darmanitan is like a little kid hyped up on two tons of sugar and will never stop moving, ever.

Gengar: Captured in the Lost Tower after curiously stalking Ed, she ended up getting accidentally captured and was nicknamed as "Rebecca". Ed's Gengar is perhaps the most sensible member of Ed's team and the smartest as well. Of course, like all ghost type Pokemon, can be sadistic and having a fondness of pranks at times. Ed's Gengar tends to act quick in combat and use long range attacks in order to bring down opponents, even those in the skies since she can levitate. Her moves in battle are Dark Pulse, Shadow Ball, Thunderbolt, Curse, Hypnosis, Dream Eater, Nightmare, Evil Eye, Psychic, Venom Shock, Sludge Bomb, Toxic, Haze and Disable.
